Is your ZIP covered?
Type your ZIP to see which phone line serves your street.
Choosing a line
The first line, (512) 641-1551, appears on the eight Austin district pages, the service, cost and guide pages, and on Lakeway, Bee Cave, Manor, Del Valle and Manchaca. The second, (512) 877-2317, appears on Round Rock, Cedar Park, Pflugerville, Leander, Hutto, Kyle, Buda, Dripping Springs, Lago Vista and Cedar Creek.
Using the other number does no harm. Whoever answers simply takes your ZIP and carries on.
Before you dial
- Your ZIP and a nearby cross street, so the correct area team is reached quickly.
- Fuel and type: gas or electric, tank or tankless, plus the heater's approximate age. The data plate on its side lists model and serial number.
- The symptom right now: dripping, cold, only lukewarm, pilot out, an error code or banging. Mention standing water first.
- Where it is installed: attic, garage, closet or an outdoor cupboard. Attic units usually need extra time and a second pair of hands.
If it is an emergency
Smell gas? Get everyone out, then ring your gas utility's emergency line from outside; Texas Gas Service, Atmos and propane suppliers print theirs on every bill. After that, call about the heater. For a tank pouring water, close the cold supply valve above it and cut power or gas to the unit before you dial.
What is not offered
There is no shopfront, postal address or online booking form behind this site, so nothing can be posted or submitted. Every visit is arranged by phone.
